My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Have you spoken with Sec. Lloyd Austin (LJA3) about his cancer? I hope they got it early. My dad had it. He was treated with some radioactive bits that they inserted into his prostate. It seemed like the best choice at the time, but he had some regrets afterwards. I’m sure LJA3 is having regrets about his cancer treatment & everything surrounding it.

            His instinct to keep his procedure on the downlow would have been ok if he didn’t get infected. Please tell him not to beat himself up, too much. We all make mistakes. Next time, he’ll know better & his error will help improve policy, so others don’t do it either. The truth usually comes out eventually, so best to be up front to maintain trust.

            Speaking of which, it’s hard to fathom how anyone can trust 45. I appreciate you for reminding us of the threat he poses.

            Unfortunately, the world has too many untrustworthy folks who don’t own up to their actions. Today’s AJ has an article about how the Kayah of Burma are still waiting for justice regarding the brutal killing of 33 civilians on Christmas Eve, 2021. The junta denies their involvement & the investigation is hindered by the constant conflict in the region.

            As you think about our sacred democracy, I encourage you to extend the idea of equality to every country on the planet & stop talking about how the USA is the best. That kind of exceptionalism feeds hierarchical thinking which fuels conflict. We are better together, working toward harmony.
