My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Have you scheduled the Rangers visit to the WH yet? Did you call Bruce Bochy? My husband is sad that World Series is over. It was an exciting diversion.

            I am concerned that we are all ensnared in binaries & it’s tearing us apart! Israeli – Palestinian, Men-Women, Civilian-Soldier, Republican-Democrat. Please remind the world things are complicated & thinking in black & white limits our imaginations.

            Remind them that 20% of Israeli citizens are Palestinians. Remind them that 1% of the population is transgender. Remind them that when soldiers take off their uniforms, they look like civilians. Remind them that 49% of Americans see themselves as belonging to neither party.

            Please encourage everyone to recognize we are all human, imperfect & impulsive souls. Please share Jesus’ sage advice to turn the other cheek. Please inspire us to see that of God in one another & forgive.

            I hope your meetings with President Gabriel Boric (GB) & President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic (DR) go well today. Please share my thoughts about the dangers of binary thinking with GB so he can help the Chilean Jews feel supported even though he recalled his ambassador from Tel Aviv. Please ask him about his “feminist foreign policy.” It sounds promising. Did you know that DR spends only .7% of its GDP on the military? Just imagine what we could do if we did that!

            News from Burma confirms “God is Change”. Chinshwehaw is now in the hands of the Brotherhood Alliance. It’s on the border with China & a major trade route. I am holding my breath, hoping that China stays out of this conflict.
