My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I am excited about your visit with the Seattle Storm today to celebrate their WNBA Championship. They are eager to spread the word about Force4Change, their social justice initiative to “promote voter registration and the amplification of Black women, LGBTQ+ leaders of color and organizations serving Black communities.” I hope they show you photos of their custom shoes that they wore in honor of Kicks for Equality. They each designed their own decorations for their shoes which were then auctioned off to raise funds for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

            Please thank Sue Bird for being such an inspiration over the years and providing a “See it. Be it.” model for children to emulate. She & her buddy Diana Taurase just won their 5th Olympic Gold Medals & are considered some of the greatest teammates in sports. It’s exciting to see the WNBA back in the WH after being absent for the past 4 years.
