My Friend & POTUS, JRB,      

            Are you enjoying the festive décor of the WH? I’m not big on that kind of thing. I pulled out a dish towel with Santa riding a bike & hung it on the stove. That’s the extent of my holiday décor for the time being.

            I wonder what kind of décor you will find at Dakota Technical College today.  66% of its students are White, so my guess is that you’ll see Christmas things. I’m surprised that you are going to a place that features “Brewing and Beer Steward Technology.” That’s not exactly the kind of infrastructure improvement we need. We have more than enough beer, don’t you think?

            I woke up to the news that Myanmar is postponing the verdict of their trial of Aung Sun Su Kyi. Those generals like to keep everyone guessing. I am not sure if they have a long-term plan or if they are just playing it by ear. Either way, it’s clear they do not have the best interest of their people at heart. The Twin Cities is the metro area in the US with the largest Burmese population, so you might seek out the leaders of the community to let them know you are concerned & keeping close track of the situation.
