Friend DJT,

            I’m rather distracted this morning as I just learned last night that my husband & I may have to take care of my sister-in-law’s affairs. She passed away last week, at age 62, after spending some time in assisted-living due to a mysterious neurological problem that left her with limited mobility. Our aunt-in-law had been “her person” and assumed that she would be the executor of the estate, but that’s not what the will says. We’re not nearly as good at legalese as you are so we are apprehensive about this.

            I sense from your tweets that you are apprehensive these days, also. Many pundits say that you are stirring up a “culture war” & they opine that it’s not 2016 anymore. My mom is feeling threatened by the folks throwing Christopher Columbus into the river, but I don’t think your tweets are going to win her vote. She would prefer to hear you soothe her soul rather than rile her up. She’s all alone in her house with only her dog to talk to & while her dog makes her smile, she does not have words of assurance to help restore my mom’s faith in democracy. You could provide those words & I hope you will start today.
