My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Inquiring minds want to know, what made you change your mind? Was it divine intervention or was it LOG? Did he persuade you on the 18th hole to sign the bill?

I applaud your interest in helping out folks by giving them more $$, but I’m surprised that you did not know that that your GOP brethren have an aversion to government spending. At least that’s what my dad always said. He would have agreed with Sens. Rand Paul (KY) & Rick Scott who didn’t vote for the bill because it was “a spending monstrosity …passing out free $$... mortgaging our kid’s futures...” He probably would have been troubled by the provisions buried in the bill that Sens Marsha Johnson (TN) & Ted Cruz (TX) object to. I think everyone would agree with Sen Mike Lee (UT) that time to read the bill before voting should always be provided  & Sen Ron Johnson’s (WI) concern that Congress is dysfunctional. All that being said, I think my dad would be relieved that you signed the bill yesterday & are keeping the government open.

            I’m sure he’d be curious to know what you meant when you tweeted, “information to follow.” I know that I am.

Is it about Section 230, the 26 words that created the internet, which protect Facebook & Twitter from being held liable for illegal posts? I tried to wrap my head around that regulation this morning, but I didn’t have the patience for it. Let’s just break up those two behemoths, especially FB. I’m hoping that the FTC’s anti-trust suit claiming that FB engages in predatory behavior is successful. Then I can end my boycott & get connected again.

            It looks like you are having a lovely sunny day. I hope you spend some time with Barron. He looks like he could use some love.
