My dear Friend and president, DJT,

Fasting for my blood draw so no coffee this AM. It's throwing me off kilter. Does that ever happen to you? Your tweets indicate you frequently wake up on the wrong side of your bed. Does tweeting make you feel better? I know that writing these letters to you helps me to calibrate. That's why I keep doing it.

Are you psyched for Orlando tonight? As you know, your fans have been lining up for days. Why didn't you go to Gainesville where the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium holds over 88,000 people? That way more of your fans could go. 40 minutes from Orlando and 25 minutes from Jacksonville, I'm sure you could fill the place. Maybe next time.

Apparently, the folks at the Miami Herald are not interested in the rally. Their front page featured the price increase for season tickets at Disneyland and the new fast train that is going to connect Orlando and West Palm. The editors at the Orlando Sentinel put your rally on the front the page but they also wrote an unflattering editorial listing all of the reasons that they would be endorsing your opponent in 2020.

In looking at the Sentinel this morning I was troubled to read that parents can use FL vouchers to send their kids to private schools that discriminate against gay students. That doesn't sit right with me. I understand that religious freedoms give people the right to their opinions, but I worry about public funds going to institutions that discriminate. I encourage you to look into this and use your bully pulpit to speak out about it. You could at least dash off a tweet letting the world know that gay kids should be treated with respect.

            Enjoy your trip,

            RCA

PS - According to the WP many mid-western fields will be fallow this year due to the extreme wetness. My heart goes out to the farmers. I hope my colleagues in the UCD Ag school concoct some fast-growing crops to provide an alternative as the weather gets more extreme. Please check in with GEP about that.
