My dear Friend and President, DJT,

           Are you ready for the STOU tonight? I haven't watched it in the past 2 years finding it easier to read the transcript, but this year I think I'll watch. I want to see the spectacle. Don't you think it's brilliant that some of the women will be wearing white as a sign of their suffragette heritage? I suggest that you wear a white tie to show your solidarity.

           It was nice of you to invite Alice Marie Johnson. I wonder if she will wear white. Now there's a lady with grace! After spending 21 years in jail for a minor drug conviction, she's still smiling. I wonder how many other Black and Brown prisoners are still languishing behind bars serving extended sentences for non-violent drug offensives. I'm glad that Kim Kardashian aked you to commute Alice's life sentence and continues to use her fame to do something about that injustice.

           Are you sure that you want to put poor Joshua Trump in the spotlight tonight? I think he just wants to be a kid and have everyone leave him alone. It's too bad that sharing a name with you has turned into such a curse for him. I heard he's planning to change it so he won't have to put up with people teasing him about it. 

           Is Kellyanne right? She says you'll be practicing "comity" tonight. I had to look that up and was happy to see that you will be polite tonight. Does that mean that you will not call anyone names? I hope so. The WSJ suggests that you could get some unity around infrastructure spending and drug pricing. Maybe you should just stick to those topics. Give a short speech and get out of there.
