My dear Friend and President, DJT,

Yesterday wasn't too unsettling. PG&E didn't cut our power and I somehow managed to maneuver my bicycle through the wind. It's still blowing out there. Our back yard is full of leaves and I'm sure I have inhaled more dust than I should. Many folks wear face masks on days like today but I'm just not comfortable with that, yet. I'm hoping for calmer weather soon.

It sounds like things will be unsettled in the Twin Cities tonight for your MEGA rally. According to the Star Tribune, Mayor Jacob Frey (JF) is "bracing for a chaotic scene" of "impassioned confrontation" between groups like the 3 Percenters and Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee. Unfortunately, many of your supporters like to bring guns to rallies so JF is worried about violence. It's hard to imagine anyone being mean in Minneapolis so I've got my fingers crossed that all will engage civilly.

JF is also worried about who is going to pay the $530,000 security fee for the rally. It seems that your campaign has a reputation for stiffing cities. I hope you'll fix that. It looks quite tacky for a guy who has raised $270 million dollars to quibble over a small fee. Did you know your Tues. tweet to JF has gotten him national attention and folks think he's "hot"?

I'm curious about the Target Arena where your rally tonight will be held. Did you know that my daughter is working at Target? She is a "guest advocate." I don't think she was aware she's part of a "passionate team ready to help" bring "the magic of Target to life—and spark joy in guests’ everyday lives." Don't you love the way they call customers, "guests"?  Isn't it wonderful that Target executives intend to be "champions of a more inclusive society?"

I hope you, too, will be that kind of champion and will encourage the 3 Percenters to do the same.

            Best,
