I’m enjoying hearing the wind rustling the leaves & the squirrels chattering about their acorns. 

What are you hearing? Are you listening to Customs & Border Protection commissioner, Rodney Scott (RSS), proposing a narrative he can spin about why the wall in Big Bend National Park was never really what you had in mind?

RSS is almost as adept at glossing over errors as you are. You’ll recall that during his confirmation hearings, he convinced the Senate Finance Committee that his “cover-up” over the death of a man detained while trying to enter the country from Mexico was no big deal & his membership in “a private Facebook group for border patrol agents in which participants insulted members of Congress & posted “racist & sexually violent content”  did not mean he agreed with the posts being made on the site. 

Now that you’ve paused the construction at Big Bend, you, two, will have plenty of time to come up with an excuse to not start it up again.

Speaking of not starting things up again, I hope you & yours are successful at getting out of EFO & convincing Bibi to stop the attacking Gaza. I’d love to hear you apologize for threatening to blow up Oman, but I understand that’s a big ask. Please assure me it’s just an idle threat & you have no intention of harming our long term ally.

As usual I encourage you to give attention to Burma. You’ll recall China is keen on building the Kyaukphyu-Kunming railway so they can get direct access to the Bay of Bengal. Some say that’s about getting a military advantage, which might pose a problem for us, especially when we’ve just vacated all of our warships from the vicinity.

Best to keep your ears open for what MAH is up to.
