My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

How are you feeling after your roller coaster of emotion yesterday? 

It must have been heart wrenching to spend time with 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan’s family after the dignified transfer of his remains.

It looked like you had a blast speaking to your people at Wheeler High School yesterday. You really lit up when talking about Trump Accounts. It must be fun to gift families with a savings account for their offspring.

According to the AJC, you mocked the word, “affordability” & said that a reporter made it up. Might your lifelong affluence be making you tone deaf to the experiences of the rest of us? So let me tell you how 99% of the population experiences the world. Each time we see that gas is $5.50/gal, it stings. Paying $4.32 for a gallon of milk makes us wince. Each of these pricks stresses us & overtime causes major inflammation. Please stop trying to convince us otherwise. 

The Trump Accounts for babies is a nice perk, but that’s all it is. Investing $1000 that can’t be used for 18 years does not help parents buy groceries today & us Baby Boomers will never benefit from it.

Instead of spending time campaigning, I suggest that you concentrate on ending the war with Iran so gas prices go down & no one else dies. 

I close with my usual ask that you devote some attention to the situation in Burma. According to today’s Irrawaddy, the junta “has admitted that it snatches young men from their homes & the streets to conscript them.” This issue was brought up in Parliament, so the good news is that local representative are pushing back on the regime in a public forum. I see that as a ray of hope.
