My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

“This is a big afternoon. They all are!” I couldn’t agree more with this observation that you made yesterday while signing Executive Orders. Please continue to share this kind of statement so folks can focus on Now, Now, Now & not worry about tomorrow.

My sister & I try to get my mom to embrace the idea of living in the moment.  When my mom starts to get into a worst case scenario mode, my sister recites Matthew 6:34,"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself”. I just change the subject.

Speaking of focusing on the here & now, I hope today is the day that our military will not kill anyone or blow up anything. I assume that’s the meaning of your admin’s claim, “the war with Iran has been terminated?” 

OoM, what are you planning to talk about at the Palm Beach Forum Club tonight? I like to imagine that you will continue in the positive direction you shifted to on Sat night when you were getting ready to speak at the Correspondent’s Dinner after the incident & said that rather than ripping into the reporters you were going to be “bigger & better, even NICER.”  I love to imagine that will be the case tonight.

The news from Burma indicates that MAH may have released Aung San Suu Kyi to house arrest. Her son, Kim Aris, is not convinced that she’s still alive & her economic adviser, Sean Turnell has his doubts, too. He says the announcement is a ploy by the military to gain legitimacy. 

Please check into her welfare & ask for some evidence that she is alive. I worry that she may be so infirm that they don’t want to show images of what she looks like right now. Many in Burma revere her & would be so relieved to know that she is out of prison in a more comfortable place.
