I’m afraid you’ve surrounded yourself with folks who tell you what you want to hear, so when you contemplated going along with Bibi’s idea to attack they encouraged you to move forward with that plan.
David Hearst (DH), writing in MEE, also worries YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU’VE DONE!
DH sees an “uncanny resemblance” between your aggression & VVP’s assault on Ukraine. DH cautions that China could get drawn in. He also notes that Iran is 4 times larger than Iraq & POTUS 43 regrets his choice to get involved there because it took longer than expected. You don’t want a prolonged military engagement, do you?
After reading a piece in Foreign Affias, I see an “uncanny resemblance” between Burma & Iran which convinces me that YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU’VE DONE!
Like Iran, Burma also has “an archipelago of political islands divided by geography, generation, ideology, & exposure to repression. These groups include neighborhood associations, student cells, women’s rights circles, ethnic movements, & labor organizations”.
Like Iran, Burma’s “opposition does not have a unifying infrastructure or a clear leader.” Maybe you’ve been told otherwise by former Crown Prince, Reza Pahlavi, but he doesn’t have support of the people being removed from their daily economic struggles as he lives in the lap of luxury in Paris.
Did you have something in mind when you told the Iranian people that "the hour of your freedom is at hand" & urged them to "take over” their government" after the strikes?
I’m sure you saw the news that Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab city in the southern Hormozgan province killing 24 - 63 girls. Media outlets are reporting various numbers, but the exact figure is less important than the fact that our munitions are killing innocent children. I know that was not your intention, but that is the result of your decision to start bombing Iran.
I implore you to stop! Now!
