My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
I hope Melania is warmly received at LSU today. Will you be joining her? If so, please say something supportive!
You know that you are my POTUS & I care about what you do & say. I hold you in the Light every day, hoping that the good vibes that I send your way will ignite compassion in your soul. Those who attended your Diwali ceremony yesterday were, undoubtedly, also praying for you as you lit the candles to signify the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, & hope over despair.
So I am hoping that you will see the Light today & reverse your decision to have Stephen Miller be your new Chief of Staff. While he may be loyal to you, he is guided by hatred & anger. He has unleashed his worst self & seems to bask in his cruelty. He’s not the kind guy who will win you new allies. You could use some of those now.
OoM, I see that you visited the Kennedy Space Center yesterday & were talking about turning it into the world’s biggest venue for air shows to “bring hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, generate billions of dollars in economic impact, & host hundreds of billions of dollars in deals.” Is that the best investment of our tax dollars right now?
SoW, do any of your people have new ideas about where we might invest our tax dollars so that the 20-somethings can get meaningful work? According to today’s AP, “voters under 30 were more likely than older age groups to say the cost of living was crucial for their vote for Congress.”
Many kids are working multiple jobs & worried about AI. They are losing trust in us old folks, so much so that the voters of Maricopa County elected a19-year old to be the clerk of their Superior Court. He’s smart, funny & incredibly quick witted, but I wouldn’t want him to be my boss!!! He says he wants to expand language services & modernize court services. I hope he can make those things happen.
As usual, I close with a reminder about Burma. Folks continue to speculate that your admin only cares about their rare earth minerals. Please show some consideration for the welfare of the people, too.
BYBS,
