My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
Did you enjoy your visit to AK? Did you see Denali? Did you see a bear? Did you notice the distinctive smell of spruce?
It’s too bad that you spent more time in AF1 than you did on the ground. You could have had the ultimate shinrin-yoku on Red Shirt Lake Trail near the Nancy Lake State Recreation Area. Better yet, you could have made a day of it by checking out the facilities at Mt McKinley National Park to make sure your DOGE interventions have not had unintended consequences of damaging one of our country’s treasures.
How did you feel about the rally? According to the StressLens, which, BTW, is running again, you got most animated when talking about what you plan to do to Iran. I wonder if it’s prudent to be excited about a war that’s so unpopular. I encourage you to share my WINTA mantra instead.
I worry that the folks in your administration are giving you poor advice & are not being honest with you about some of your choices. As you know, every move you make is being scrutinized so when you do stuff like reposting that video of William Chapman being attacked by a tiger, you cause unintended harm. I can’t imagine that you realized how offended his family would be. I suspect that Susan Wiles would have cautioned against drawing attention to that unfortunate incident. I suspect that Natalie Harp did not.
I hope your visits to AZ & MT go well today. I would love to hear you express your gratitude to the free press that keeps such a close eye on you. It’s one of the pillars of our democracy that places like Burma do not have. You may not like what they write about you, but at least they write about you. As I told you frequently in your first term, “there’s no such thing as bad publicity.”
BYBS,
RCA
