My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            I am experiencing some dissonance this AM. I can’t reconcile the various messages you are sending out on Truth Social. On the one hand you expressed sympathy for those mourning the loss of Pope Francis by posting the note, “Rest in Peace Pope Francis! May God Bless him & all who loved him!” That one was written by your better self as you suppressed your disagreement with him over the humane treatment of refugees.

            Then I saw another of the 20 posts that you sent yesterday that began “Happy Easter to all, including Left Wing Lunatics…” When I first saw that one, I thought it was fake news. I couldn’t imagine why you would write it. I’m afraid you let your dark side come through. Not a good look on a day of hope & renewal. I must remind you, as I did when you were 45, social media is NOT a good way for a POTUS to communicate with the country. Please desist.

            As you participate in the egg roll at the WH today, I hope to see your better self. After thanking the American Egg Producers for donating 2,500 dozen small & medium eggs for the event, you can remind them that to resist the urge to profit from the egg shortage. I’m sure you are aware that you DOJ is investigating Cal-Maine’s $1bn in windfall profits. If you can suggest that they cut it out in a calm & gentlemanly way, I’d really appreciate it.

            That diplomatic approach might also be helpful in persuading Gen. MAL that the polycrisis in Burma is taking a huge toll on his people & he needs to make sure that the Internally Displaced People in Mandalay receive some aid. His bombing campaign forced them from their village homes & now he is depriving them of food & shelter. He’s letting his dark side overwhelm him & wreaking havoc on his country. He needs to stop & you are the guy to help him see the Light.

            As you strive to be your best self, consider emulating the mercy that Pope Francis was known for & forgive those who trespass against you.
