My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT, 

October 7 is significant to various people on this planet for various reasons. Perhaps that’s true about every date. If we hunt, we can find a birthday, a miracle or a catastrophe that happened on a particular date reminding us that God is Change. Stuff happens, both good & bad. Our challenge is to experience it all, learn from it & keep moving on. 

So today marks the second anniversary of when Hamas breached the Gaza–Israel barrier at 119 points & attacking 21 communities. Bereaved families & survivors are commemorating in the small kibbutzim where members were killed or kidnapped, at the site of the Nova music festival, & you are hosting  Edan Alexander at the WH. Please encourage him to forgive his captors who treated him with such cruelty. Doing so will release him from his anger & allow him to heal.  

This day could go down in history as the end of Bibi’s war if Hamas & Israel can come to an agreement in Egypt. Hopefully, they can figure out a disarmament plan that is agreeable to Hamas so Bibi will stop bombing Gaza. 

Today also marks the last day of the Thadingyut Festival. It’s one of the big holidays in Burma when folks try to return home to pay respect to their elders & mark the moment that Buddha descended from heaven. Sadly, according to the Irrawaddy, last night the junta bombed a peaceful candlelight vigil in Sagaing Region’s Chaung-U Township killing at least 32 people including children. I encourage you to make a Social Truth post objecting to MAH’s cruelty! 

I hope your meeting with Canadian PM Carney goes well today. Please remember that folks in the MidWest depend on the diluted bitumen that comes to their refineries through the Keystone pipeline. The system upgraded cracking units to handle Canadian crude. Farmers need that gas to operate, so best to not put tariffs on Canadian petrol.
