My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
How was the ball last night? The WP provided the only article on it explaining that the guests were your new buddies from tech, crypto & defense companies, many of which have large federal contracts. Perhaps you decided to keep the event on the downlow to prevent the average American from seeing that you & your team are having fancy parties when federal employees aren’t getting paid.
What do you think about the separation of entertainment & state? Should we put it in the Constitution? I’d prefer that federal contracts go to those with the lowest reasonable bids, rather than those who have wined & dined the right people. Please give some consideration to the possibility that the event appeared to be a “cash-for-access" affair.
Please help me understand your suggestion that those in attendance would be among the first guests in the new ballroom “if we still like you at that time.” Are you saying that your relationships are always provisional? That you don’t trust your friends? If so, I encourage you to rethink that.
Mark Travers writes in Psychology Today, “Findings from a 2025 meta-analysis showed a consistent positive link between trust and subjective well-being. Participants who reported higher levels of trust, whether toward individuals, communities, or institutions, also reported greater happiness & life satisfaction.”
If you could become more trusting & encourage your fans to do the same, we’d all be much happier. You could stop engaging in “security theater,” call off the National Guard & get to work on remedying poverty & climate change.
By showing that national leaders can trust their followers, you’d set an example for folks like VVP, MAH & KJU so they’d stop oppressing their citizens.
Take a risk to trust (TARTT),
BYBS,
