My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

What’s up? I’m grateful that you don’t have a new crisis to deal with today. I hope you can get a budget passed soon. I hope you can keep us out of military conflicts. I hope you come up with a strategy for the situation on the border. I wish you would stop selling weapons, but I fear that’s too much to hope for.

I appreciate that you are trying to assuage the anxiety & guilt that seems to be plaguing everyone. Last night I zoomed with 16 classmates who convened to support one another in our efforts at wellness. While it was refreshing to hear the truth about the challenges we each face, folks were beating themselves up about their inability to eat right. Being at home during the pandemic made it hard for some to stay away from the fridge. Several lamented the sugar they consumed over the holidays. Some had lost weight, only to gain it back. Some had bad habits because they ate alone. Hearing all this regret led me to remind them to love themselves first. We plan to share “wins.” Do you have anyone to complain to about your health issues?

Did you see that Duwa Lashi La, the acting president of the National Unity Government (NUG), has declared, the end of the [junta] military council is near?” Please give him a call to strategize about next steps.
