Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

Not much to report or comment on today. I am still scratching my head, not sure what to make of the situation in Moscow. The NYT says Russians are “gripped by uncertainty after mutiny,” especially because VVP didn’t say anything yesterday. That’s not like him.

According to FilterLabs.AI, YVP, did not have sufficient public support to withstand VVP’s propaganda against him so he gave up when Aleksandr G. Lukashenko (AGL) offered the opportunity to do so. The NYT says AGL is the only person win any points in this whole debacle. I’m hoping the moms of Russia rise up to make some noise & refuse to let their kids fight in senseless conflicts that are more about ego than anything else.

Speaking of which, the Irrawaddy reports that some junta soldiers surrendered to the Karenni resistance forces in Kayah State, realizing that their cause is futile. So far, five militia outposts along the Salween River have been taken over by the resistance forces. Let’s continue to hold the people of Burma in the Light as they sort things out.

Let’s also hold the people of Kansas City in the Light. Today’s KCS features an article, “It sounded like war: 3 dead, 5 injured in gunfire.” Homicides are way up there & citizens are complaining “as the city touts the new airport terminal & other developments, other parts of the city have been disregarded.” The gun laws in MO make it too easy to get a weapon, & “do stupid shit.” The people who are most affected by the gun lobby’s efforts to protect itself, are young Black males. Please do more to link the Black Lives Matters movement with the gun safety message.

I look forward to hearing more about your broadband initiative. I appreciate your efforts to ensure everyone gets decent internet access.

            BYBS,
