My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I’m sorry that KOM & his comrades continue to interfere with our financial system. I’m afraid they are taking advantage of our financial illiteracy & most folks’ confusion between debt & deficit. Most know that they have to do with spending $$ one has not yet earned & should be sued sparingly, but that’s it.  

“Debt” has a negative connotation, which is why KOM et al keep harping about it. I encourage you to talk about it as KEEPING OUR PROMISES. Everyone can wrap their heads around that & it sounds like a good thing.

            Are you sure you need to fly to NY today? The train would take about the same amount of time & would not spew as much carbon into the atmosphere as AF1 & your helicopter.

            I’m glad that you are visiting Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s (JB) NY 16th district. He’s my kind of guy, a former school principal, not afraid to raise his voice to speak his truth. He shares my conviction that we need limit defense spending & invest in housing, health care & jobs programs. He got some attention in March for yelling in the halls of Congress, asking the press to pressure Reps about gun legislation noting that "they don't have the courage. They're cowards." He lost it when Thomas Massie suggested teachers should carry guns, saying, “more guns lead to more death.”

            On a different topic, have you been in touch with the ASEAN guys meeting in Labuan Bajo? Please encourage them to come to unity on what to do about Burma. The latest news from HRW indicates that the junta used a thermobaric, AKA, vacuum bomb, on its citizens. According to AJ, the weapon sends a “blast wave of extreme pressure & heat that creates a partial vacuum in an enclosed space …to cause maximum deaths.”  

Let’s stop building this kind of thing & let’s stop selling weapons like it. No one should profit from building & selling killing devices.
