My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I hope you have a quiet weekend on the beach in DE. I am off to engage in a Superweekend with my to-be neighbors of Washington Commons Co-Housing. We will be visiting our construction site, learning about Sociocracy & getting better acquainted. It will be a full day of socializing which will leave me spent. As an introvert, this kind of day requires effort. I suspect that you are more of an extrovert who is energized by meeting, greeting & visiting.

            Yesterday’s medal ceremony would be a good measure of your sociability. Did you leave it ready for another social event or did you need a nap? Speaking of which, I appreciated the comments that you made at the event, especially the bit about “not flinching."

            I’m grateful that the House finally settled on their Speaker. KM won’t have the same kind of power as NPP, but that may be a good thing. Only time will tell. The crew of GOP Reps who refused to vote for him show that the party has enough disrupters to be unproductive. Hopefully, they will not obstruct funding the government when the time comes. If they do, it will be a chance to cut back on defense spending, so it won’t be the end of the world.

            I’m sure you heard about the prison riot in Burma which started when the junta took a phone from a political detainee. Things are really falling apart there. Please do what you can to help.
