My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Perhaps, today, I will have time to read that story about the man who speaks 24 languages. That’s because you have ZERO mentions in the NYT & the WP, and only 2 in the G, both for the same piece by Robert Reich (RBR). By the way, in case you haven’t read it, he says, “you have a critical opportunity to reframe the national conversation as it should be framed – around the worsening abuses of economic power by large corporations and the super-rich.” As you work on making some noise, give RBR a call, he can help.

            I will call your attention to the continued bad news from Myanmar where, the Sydney Morning Herald reports, “it’s the heaviest fighting all over Burma since World War II.” They note that Australia has not sanctioned the Tatmadaw. Please give Scott Morrison a call & tell him to do so.

            Finally, as we enter Holy Week, please recall Jesus’ plea to love the enemy. It’s a tall order, but deserves repeating. The Buddha said something similar, but his message is not easy to condense into a short phrase. Suffice it to say, WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER & providing weapons is not the way to peace.
