My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

How are things in England? I understand that you will be meeting up with Bo-Jo today. I hope that goes well.

I doubt you have had time to see the modest press coverage that 14-year-old Sydney Glascock received after introducing you at Midenhall yesterday. She said that you set her at ease & made it feel like you had known each other before. It was kind of you to proclaim to the crowd that she would be President someday.

Will PM Nerendra Modhi (NDM) be joining the G7 conversations by Zoom? I know that BJ invited him, but NDM decided it was best to stay in India given their awful CV situation. In addition to conferring with him on CV, I encourage you to ask about the Myanmar situation. Chin refugees are crossing the Tiau Rvier into India & some youth are engaging in military training. Some say the uprising in Burma is giving oxygen to the discontent in India, as well as depleting the scarce resources in that part of the world at the beginning of monsoon season. It’s a dire situation demanding some creative problem solving.

Speaking of borders, the more I read about the EU/UK border situation in Northern Ireland, the more confused I become. I hope you can help BJ work something out so everyone can have their sausages, & peace can prevail.

On a lighter note, today would be Prince Philip’s 100th birthday. Have you heard of the DoIt4Youth campaign that launches today in his name? It asks people to do 4 things – Get Up (exercise), Skill Up (learn something new), Free Up (give up a bad habit) & Hand Up (do something charitable). Participants have 4 weeks to do all of this. I can “Skill Up” by learning to play the ukulele my neighbor just loaned me,” but I’m not sure what I might do for the other 3. How about you?

            Cheerio,
