My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            It’s a windy day! I hope it portends change. My life will be better soon because I am getting vaccinated tomorrow. YEAH! I’m not letting vax guilt stop me from taking advantage of the opportunity. Who knew that I would get nanoparticles injected in my arm so soon?  

I am looking forward to the day in a few weeks when I can go into TJs at a normal hour without fear of getting close to someone. I have discovered that I am very bad at planning menus for the week & am eager to have that burden lifted from my shoulders. That’s the good news of the day.

            The bad news is what happened to Rodney Reese (RR) in Plano, TX. In case you didn’t read the Guardian, the poor kid was walking home from his job at Walmart on a snowy street in his T-shirt when the police tried to stop him. They had been called out on a wellness check because someone noticed him stumbling along on the ice. He ended up spending the night in jail. From what I saw on the police video, he was cold & didn’t want to stop for a convo with the police woman when she asked what he was doing & where he was going. When he didn’t comply with her request, she decided to cuff him & take him in. When you talk with Susan Rice today, please see what you can do to ameliorate the harm caused to RR.

            Please continue to monitor the Burma situation. According to the NYT, they’ve got 1000s of cyber soldiers trying to inhibit communication. The generals are shooting themselves in the foot every time they shut down the internet or as the Burmese would say, “their urine is watering their own face.” Their economy will continue to deteriorate & we will have another humanitarian crisis on our hands. The world has enough of those, don’t you think?
