My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Yeah! Daytona dodged a bullet. Isaias hit at about 5AM with winds of 70 mph. Unfortunately, as I’m sure you’ve heard, It’s getting organized again & may turn back into a Cat 1 hurricane. I associate a hurricane with chaos so I am intrigued that a hurricane can be “organized.” Please send good vibes to the people in the Carolinas that they can weather this storm.

            Help me understand your plans for the USPS. According to Forbes Magazine it is “the most loved brand in America” ahead of Google and Netflix. I encourage you to give Louis DeJoy (LD) a call & tell him to call off his efforts to cutback on costs. We love our mail carriers. Mine is Julie & when I asked her what I should do about my lost mailbox key, she assured me that if my box was too full, she’d bring my letters to my door. The cashier at our local PO is a lovely person, also. She apologizes to customers if they have to wait more than a minute. I know that among the 600,000 postal workers, a few are grumpy, but for the most part they are affable public servants who will make some noise if they are prevented from doing their jobs properly.

            I encourage you to add some $$ for the USPS in the next stimulus package to help them get through the pandemic. Then your buddy LD can try his cost cutting measures. Afterall, I’m sure you don’t want delivery of the next round of stimulus checks to be delayed, do you?
