My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Did you and your staff miss me yesterday? I had to use my writing time to harvest tomatoes. My garden is over flowing & I had to go there at the crack of down before it got too hot. Today it is already hot at 7:30 AM. We’ve got some thunder & rain drops – freaky weather which is giving me the creeps. We’re going to have spend the day at our neighbor’s house as ours doesn’t have AC. We are so lucky to have support on the cul-de-sac.

I was so sorry to her about your brother’s passing. My husband lost his sister last month. Losing a sib means losing some family history – those memories of moments, both good & bad, which have shaped us into the people we are. Our sibs are some of the few people who can be entirely honest with us. We all need that reality check from time to time. I’m sure you are bereft that you have lost one of yours.

Speaking of reality checks, I was happy to see Dr. Brix was in Kansas City telling people “don’t be cavalier” about the virus. I hope you will adopt that phrase yourself so we can get this thing over with.

Ivanka & Jared must be tickled pink to see J’s op-ed in the WP today. It seems that the Abraham Accord is being well received in almost all corners of the US – except perhaps among Palestinians. I hope you will hold Bibi to his promise not to annex the West Bank territory any time soon. I encourage you to call Indonesia’s foreign minister, Retno Marsudi. As you are aware, her country is home to the world’s largest Muslim population and is often a vocal defender of Palestinian rights. She can help you understand the delicacy of this situation and why it would be advantageous to get the UN involved. We want to world on our side, don’t we?

It looks like we will both be staying inside today. Please find some time to count your blessings.

            HYITL,
