My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            I have a shopping list for you and a suggestion.

            Shopping lists are a new thing for me. BCV (before CV) I would stop at TJs on my ride home from the office to pick up something for dinner. Sometimes I wouldn’t figure out what dinner would be until I started roaming around the store. I like to be spontaneous – I think you do, too.  Go with the flow, match my menu to my mood, be ready to take advantage of the weekly special or the produce that looks the best. But now, I am trying to plan a week’s worth of meals in advance and am making a list.

            I suggest that you do the same with the next stimulus package that’s in the works. Here are the items I am enthused about.

1.     More $$ to Tribal governments – their revenues have dried up because casinos are closed and only 3% of them have diagnostic kits. 16% of Native Americans live in overcrowded spaces and 10% have people of all ages in their homes. Trauma has stressed them out so they have all kinds of health issues. Let’s give them some assistance.

2.     $ to EMTs – Did you know that their average salary is about $40,000 and they don’t have health insurance? That’s not right. Please fix it.

3.     $ to local governments to make up for lost sales tax

4.     $ to states for new voting processes so folks don’t have to choose between casting a ballot and their health. Wisconsin’s vote yesterday was a travesty. Please do what you can to prevent that from happening again.

Suggestion – Do not fire any more Inspector Generals!!! We are in the process of distributing $2 trillion to millions of people. Some greedy folk are going to want to get their hands on that $ and there will be a temptation for some graft. We need aggressive oversight from bulldogs like Glenn Fine. It was a mistake to fire him and I hope you don’t make any more mistakes like that.
