My dear Friend, DJT,

The children of Village Homes are out and about, undaunted by this invisible bundle of RNA that haunts us. Their moms keep saying, “give them space,” as the little ones go about their business of building fairy houses out of sticks. Their joy lifts my spirit. How is your spirit doing?

I am hoping that you will take notice of Nikki Haley’s (NRH) bold move of resigning from Boeing’s board. My dad & gma, up in heaven, fully approve of her statement, “I cannot support a move to lean on the federal government for a stimulus or bailout that prioritizes our company (Boeing) over others and relies on taxpayers to guarantee our financial position.” That’s the true Republican spirit that the Ambrose family endorsed back in the day.

While I think bailouts might be ok sometimes, it sounds like Boeing is even more messed up than United Airlines! The Seattle Times thinks that the board is dysfunctional and that the whole company needs a culture change. I’m afraid that everyone there got fat and happy and put too much faith in their CEO. That can happen when board members get paid $324,000 just to show up once every two months for a meeting. The CEO doesn’t need $23.4 million dollars and Boeing should learn to save $$ for a rainy day rather than use its profits for stock buybacks. If you must give the airplane industry some $$, please consider Sen. Ed Markey’s suggestion that they work on reducing their carbon footprint.

I encourage you to read the NYT article about Summer Mossbarger’s family so you can direct all of our spare $$ to the poor folk who need help rather than the fat cats at Boeing who should get their acts together.

Have you done any singing as I suggested? Today I am learning Bob Marley’s song, “Three Little Birds.” It’s a great tonic.

HYITL,

RCA
