DJT,

You win some. You lose some. That’s the way of the world, right? Even your buddy, wrestler, Dan Gable, who got the Medal of Freedom yesterday, lost at least once or twice. As you said, he’s a GOAT, “greatest of all time” & even he acknowledges that “no place is perfect.”

It’s time for you to move on & stop pestering people about the election. It must be soul crushing for you to hear state legislator, after state legislator, saying that they don’t have the power to overturn the election or call for a special session of the legislature. Some people think you are trying to “invite insurrection.” I certainly hope that’s not true.

It’s time to get back to work running your agencies. You need to pay attention to what the folks at the Census Bureau are telling you about the challenges of getting an accurate count during a pandemic. They have identified 13 anomalies in their records & they need some time to straighten things out. Apparently, their biggest problem is with “group quarters,” in particular college dorms. You can imagine how tricky it would be to pin down where college kids resided in 2020. Take my daughter, for example. She was in Indiana up till March, then moved to MO & has a CA drivers license. I can’t remember how I filled out our form, so she may have been counted 2 or 3 times. Your folks want time to get that straight, so you’ll need to be patient & stop pressuring them to give you #s by Dec 31.

Attention to detail seems to be a problem across your administration. Two of the stories I read today included some embarrassing oversights. First, we still have 628 children who were separated from parents at the border whose trauma continues because we don’t know who their parents are. Second, lawyers who were petitioning a Fulton County Superior Court judge in GA did not pay the proper filing fee or fill out their paperwork correctly. This kind of sloppiness is not the way to end a presidency. It’s time to get your act together.

            HYITL,
