DJT,

You are brilliant at putting people into uncomfortable positions. It will be fascinating to see how the Senators respond when AMM makes them step up to vote on the toxic combo of the $2000 check plus the Repeal of Section 230. Have you tallied up the votes to see how it will go?

Can you believe that this year is almost over? I am tired of hearing about how bad 2020 has been. I don’t like thinking in those terms. I know that you don’t either. We have just so many days in our lives & we have to make the best of each one, no matter what they may bring.

I’m sure that’s the way that Luke Letlow’s family feels right now after losing him to CV. As you know, he was just 41 with no underlying conditions. His future was bright after having won the 5th Congressional District in LA. He was ready to start the 117th Session on Jan 3 so he could fight for internet access & jobs for the people of his district, the second poorest in the US. I’m sure his wife & 2 young children would be happy to repeat 2020 many times rather than live without him. I’m sure you’ve sent your condolences.

My sister gave me a “40-Day prayer challenge” which includes suggestions by Mark Betterson about how to pray. On Day 4, he counsels that we need to pray through rather than pray away challenging times so that we are changed by our travails. If we just grit our teeth & fail to reflect, we will just maintain the same mentality that makes the situation so challenging. So, I am wondering, what have you learned this year?

My lesson of 2020 is the value of friendship & the importance of showing up. I so appreciate my soul mates who understand my challenges & are ready to listen when I need to share my sorrow, but are also available to divert me by chatting about this & that. I hope you have a few friends who do that for you.

HYITL,

RCA
