My dear Friend and president, DJT,

Hard to believe that the year is already half over. Where does the time go?

I hope you get a chance to recalibrate today and ease yourself back into Eastern Standard Time. I see that you have a light schedule today and I'm sure you will enjoy signing the H.R.1957 - the Taxpayer First Act. I doubt that its author, John Lewis, will be there. According to the Rolling Stone, he's boycotted every one of your events that he's had an opportunity to participate in. He's not afraid of trouble and neither are you, so you do have something in common. I suspect that Sasan Goodarzi, CEO of Intuit, will be at the signing. The website, "The Ringer," says that Intuit, along with H&R Block, heavily supported the bill, which will give them a monopoly on electronic tax preparation. Even though he might be one of the 1%, Sasan seems like a good guy. He's proud to be an Iranian refugee who had to flee in 1978 at age 10, when the Shah was overthrown.  He's got some great ideas about the power of diversity in workforce so I hope you'll take a few minutes to speak with him.

I hope that you don't waste too much time micromanaging the 4th of July celebration. You really don't need tanks on the Mall and the Park Service doesn't have the budget or the people power to figure out how to put them there. The fancy firework show that Felix “Phil” Grucci Jr.has planned will be sufficiently impressive to get your fans pumped up. Personally, I am more excited by the sing-along hosted by the seniors at The Residences at Thomas Circle which will feature their rendition of "Makes America Friends Again."

I have lots to do, including filing out my tax forms. Things were too crazy for me in April so I sent in a check and put off filing for the summer. I better get busy.

            Best,

            RCA
