You aren't firing Steve Mnuchin, are you? You may be unhappy with him for recommending Jerome Powell for the job of setting interest rates, and I know that the economy is starting to look iffy with a narrowing gap between short and long term bond yields, slumping home prices, low oil prices and declines in global growth. You can't blame that on Steve or Jay. The economy is too complex for any one person to control. You will need Steve's helping figuring out how we should move forward with Xi Jinping so I hope you can refrain from publicly criticizing him.
Have you taken a close look at the Climate Change report that just came out? It's alarming! Trade disruptions, ag disruptions, increased pollution, infrastructure decay - billions of dollars spent on dealing with all of these things. I'm afraid that Black Friday was not enough of a distraction to prevent the citizens from hearing about the report. Please also be aware that one chilly day in November is not proof that the climate isn't changing.
I'm afraid your administration may be the Mardi Gras of the second millennium - going hog wild before the lean times. Perhaps some moderation is in order. What do you think?
