My dear Friend and president, DJT,

Did you know that you and Pope Francis have something in common? You both have "a habit of saying things that throw people into confusion." I didn't know that he is also inclined to overstep his role. This time he is suggesting changing the wording to the Lord's Prayer. According to the NYT this has "angered Catholic traditionalists." I don't often say the "Our Father. Do you?

By the way, in case you hadn't heard, the change would be to say, “do not let us fall into temptation," rather than "lead us not into temptation." Do you think all of those bad choices you have made, like talking trash on that bus, or building the Taj Mahal Casino, were because God tempted you? Temptation is not my biggest problem. Management and organization plague me. In any case, I suggest you stay out of the Lord's Prayer debate for the time being.

Did you get a chance to meet WWII veteranCharles Shay, who according to the CSM, participated in several events commemorating the Native Americans' contributions on DDay? He's a Penobscot Indian who fought alongside 174 other Native Americans, 28 of whom are buried in the Normandy cemetery. I like what he said about how the # 7 is sacred in his culture and that "Liberty" and "Freedom" both have 7 letters. He went on to say, "These hallowed words represent our inherent dignity and inalienable natural right as human beings, regardless of our race, nationality, or religion. Treasure them, for these precious concepts remind us of great sacrifices and inspire us to remain forever vigilant.”I am impressed that someone who has every reason to hold a grudge against America for treating his people with such animosity chose forgiveness instead and elected to fight for freedom. I hope you'll give him a call to thank him for his service.

            Best,

            RCA

PS - I hate to think my tax $ paid for Eric and Don Jr's trip. You all have plenty of cash so I hope Trump Corp foot the bill. Please confirm this to be true.
