My dear Friend and President, DJT,

You're back on the front page of the NYT - 8 times to be exact, including a couple of times in headlines about immigration, twice in a piece about your obsession with Rep. Ihan Omar, something about your administration being pressured to pay for a rare cancer treatment, an article about KJU's conditions for a third meeting with you and an op-ed piece entitled "Trump and the Annihilation of Shame."

I read the last one. I think the writer, Bret Stephens has effectively captured your greatest strength which is also your greatest weakness, your shamelessness. He opines, "Ordinary mortals tend to blush when caught out in some kind of mischief. Trump smirks." I suspect that your impudence may have come from being sent to the principal's office once too often. Frequent visitors to the principal eventually learn that being in trouble isn't that bad. They get reprimanded, maybe have to spend an hour sitting around and then get sent back to class. They eventually become immune to the sting of shame and grow into repeat offenders. Am I right? Did you get sent to the principal a lot?

I'm not a fan of shaming kids or shaming anyone for that matter. So, your refusal to be embarrassed by your transgression doesn't bother me that much. I do wish you'd take responsibility for the harm you've caused and apologize for it. Maybe even learn from your mistakes.

Speaking of mistakes, closing the border would be a very big one. Stop listening to Stephen Miller. He probably went to the principal once too often, also.

It's never too late to learn! I hope you'll get started today.

            Best,
