Aren't you relieved that the Mueller report has come out and you have not been arrested? I'm not sure why you were worried about being arrested if you didn't do anything wrong, but nonetheless, it must be nice to have that "cloud," as the NYT called it, lifted from you. Please express your appreciation to Robert Mueller, who has been such a professional. As David Von Drehle wrote in the WP today, "He was called under difficult circumstances to drill straight down to a bedrock of facts and tell us, without bias, without slant, what he found." He deserves a dinner at the WH for that.

Speaking of dinner at the WH, I'm sure you'll enjoy hosting Stanley Cup winners, the DC Capitals, today. I hope you understand why Braden Holtby and Devante Smith-Pelly chose not to attend. As a LGBTQ advocate, Braden would want to help you understand his views on gay marriage, and as an African-Canadian Devante would try to help you understand why athletes "take the knee." Having those conversations would interfere with the celebration so it's probably best they stay home. Invite them another time so they can speak their minds in a private setting. Devante has had to face racist stuff from NHL fans and you could help him convince those fans that he belongs on the ice and not the basketball court. While the Caps are in the WH, best keep a close eye on MVP Alex Ovechkin. He's one of Vlad's buddies and might be planting some Russian bugs on the premises. Alex says he just wants peace between the US and Russia, but you never know.

I hope you have fun with your buddy, Bibi, this morning. Some folks think his strategy of a one-state solution when Israel gets permanent possession of the West Bank and Golan Heights "will tear apart every synagogue and Jewish organization across the world" because all of the Palestinians will then be official citizens who should get the right to vote. It's not clear that everyone in Israel is ready for that kind of true democracy.
