My dear Friend and President, DJT,

  Is it true that DC is having a thundersnow and hamster-sized snowflakes? How exciting! Apparently, the Beltway is a mess. I am so grateful that I don't have to deal with that kind of thing. My biggest commute challenge is crossing Russel Blvd where there's a mid-block crossing and it's unclear if bikes or cars have the right-of-way.

  I hope this weather doesn't screw up your visit with Austrian Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz. Help me understand why you are taking the time to meet with him right now. Are you going to give him a hard time about the $9 billion trade deficit we had with them in 2018? Maybe you will persuade him to repatriate the 200 Austrians who served with ISIS. Or perhaps you just want to share notes on how best to turn immigration into a campaign issue. I'm surprised that someone that is only 31-years old can be so conservative. Please tell him that it's a bad idea to limit citizen's religious practices, even if you find them scary. Shutting down mosques and outlawing face veils are the first steps in a very bad direction. 

  I have to get going. I am excited to learn more about Dr. Bettina Love's curriculum, Get Free, Hip Hop Civics Ed. I just saw her at the UCD Equity Summit and she rocked the house. She's into "abolitionist teaching" and I'm eager to learn more. I'll keep you posted.
