My dear Friends and President, DJT,

Have you ever read Socrates? How about Foucalt? I think you should!

I just discovered Foucalt's 1984 seminars on the "Courage of Truth" in my efforts to write about student teachers' moments of courage during their teacher education program. Foucalt elaborates on the Ancient Greek's idea of parrahesia which has to do with having an open heart and speaking one's truth. It takes courage since people can get hurt when they do that. According to Socrates, even old people can learn to do this, so it's not too late for you.

I'm afraid you are leading what Foucalt would call, "the life of a Cynic", including "dramatization of the unconcealed life." I am just beginning to learn about that so you'll have to stay tuned.

For the time being, please stop tweeting "THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!" at 4:56 AM. Having such negative thoughts is a really bad way to start the day.

May your golf game restore your equilibrium.

            Best,
