My Dear Friend and President, DJT,

            I’m sorry that your Mental Health Summit yesterday got overshadowed by Mark Galli’s editorial in Christianity Today. I hope you will take a moment to reflect on his concerns about your moral confusion. You could chalk that confusion up to mental health issues and head over to Matt Stanford’s (MSS) Hope & Healing Center to get some relief from your anxieties & afflictions.

            Did you get a chance to hear MSS at the summit yesterday? I love his idea of training parishioners to provide preliminary mental health services. Most folks go to their minister when they are suffering so it makes sense that the church would be a place to begin the recovery process. With so many people in our country facing anxiety we need all the help we can get and I’m thankful that you are paying attention to issues related to mental health.
