My Dear Friend and President, DJT,

            What a treat to learn about ID Gov Brad Little (BJL) this AM! I’m sure he’ll be the star of today’s WH gathering of Govs for cutting more regs than any other state in the US. It’s not really a fair comparison since his dysfunctional legislature didn’t pass their reauthorization bill so 8200 pages worth of law expired giving so he could start fresh to choose the laws he wanted to keep. I hope you’ll get a chance to talk to BJL about how he’s switching his state away from fossil fuels and cutting down on carbon emissions so the rest of the states can start doing that too.

            I’m surprised you didn’t go to Belgium to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to be holed up in snow fighting against all odds. Maybe we should read my uncle’s book, Band of Brothers, to get a better idea of the sacrifices men like Malcolm “Bush” Marsh, Jr. made to save democracy. He’s there today with Nancy Pelosi and Mark Espy in Bastogne. God Bless them.
