My dear Friend and President, DJT,

I wish I could send you a photo of a funny t-shirt that I found when googling, "trump dia de los muertos." The website, Teepublic, claims to be having a 35% off everything sale which will end very soon. They have a count-down clock to show exactly when prices will be increasing. I'm sure you know that sales trick. Create a sense of urgency. Throw the buyer off. Anyway, the funny t-shirt is a red, white & blue sugar skull with sun glasses and your hair-do. I hope someone on your team is collecting all of the paraphernalia that your detractors find amusing. It would make a great exhibit at your Presidential Library.

Speaking of Presidential Libraries, where will yours be? I understand that you are now an official resident of Florida, so my guess is that you'll put it there. Too bad it won't receive as many visitors as it would have if it were in NYC.

So, back to Dia de Los Muertos - I encourage you to acknowledge the holiday in some way. You could honor your own departed loved ones or, you could do as James Garcia of the Arizona Mirror suggests, and honor all of those in the US who have lost their lives unjustly in mass shootings. I'm sure the families of many of the folks who were shot at the Walmart in El Paso have built altars for their brethren, and knowing that you haven't forgotten their heart ache might bring them some comfort.

Are you sure you want to spend the evening watching MMA at Madison Square Garden? I'm not really sure what that is, but it looks brutal! I have never liked the idea of people beating on each other as a spectacle. Unleashing our rage through violence does not promote peace and serenity. It just fuels anger. You are already mad enough right now. Watching men pummel each other is the last thing you need. I encourage you to stay at Trump Tower and then go out and watch the NYC marathon tomorrow. Doing so will inspire you to work hard and persist. It will do you a world of good.

            Best,
