My dear Friend and President, DJT,

How was your trip to Benedict College? It's too bad that only 10 students were able to attend the event. I know that the venue was only big enough for 300 people, but don't you think you could have found a few more students? They've got 2247 of them there, and even though they recently cut their political science major, many of the students wanted to witness an event with the POTUS.

What was your impression of Benedict's President, Dr. Rosalyn Artis? You, two, have a lot in common. She calls herself a tornado. Since she arrived in 2017, she cut 7 majors, sold some property, cut tuition, raised admissions standards and fired 37 people. She caught some flak for hosting you on her campus, but she said people should "separate feelings about individuals" in order to "find common solutions to common problems in our country." She did say your lynching comment the other day was "grossly inappropriate." It's unclear how she feels about you, but I'm sure she's happy to see her institution in the national news.

I saw in the transcript of your speech that you gave credit to Tim Scott (TES) for his work on the Opportunity Zone legislation. That was nice. You might have also mentioned Cory Booker who also sponsored the bill. I was happy to see that TES will "kill" the program if it doesn't benefit the communities that it's supposed to help.

I also appreciated your expression of sympathy about the passing of Elijah Cummings, but I'm sorry that you had to compare yourself to the previous administration in advancing the causes of African Americans. It has the appearance of being self-centered and was particularly offensive to those in the Black community who identify with your predecessor. If you want their votes, you need to stop doing that.

I hope you find some time to unwind on the golf course today. I am going to a retirement party of a math eddie. Should be fun.

            Best,
