How was your LA visit? Did you manage to avoid insulting the governor? Maybe so, because when I asked my AI app, Claude, “What did Trump say about Newsom on August 4, 2026?” It couldn’t come up with anything. 

It could be that Claude is down at the moment, because it did not respond when I asked it “who attended last night’s RNC event in LA?”

I guess that event was not newsworthy. Do you think today’s visit to Las Vegas will garner more attention?

Speaking of newsworthy, your insistence on sticking to the “vandalism” narrative about the damage to the reflecting pool, despite evidence to the contrary, was on the front pages of the NYT & WP. Please be sure to check in with Susie Wiles before taking any action against Jeanine Pirro. If you fire another woman from your administration it will confirm the hypothesis that you are running a “misogynistic administration.” Perhaps you should consider firing Interior Secretary Doug Burgum for advancing the spurious argument that David “Davey” Hearn cut the lining. Better yet, just drop the whole thing.

OoM, I ask that you join the British government in responding with an abundance of caution to MAH’s decision to allow the International Red Cross to see Aung San Suu Kyi. You can say release a statement similar to theirs which “reiterated its call for her release & all those unlawfully detained by the military regime.”
